Avoid Wedding Woes: 

Realize that your wedding dress may not be spotless after the wedding, even if you think it looks so.  If you wish to preserve your gown, have it professionally cleaned (substances like perspiration can turn into stains later on.) Make sure tears and loose attachments are repaired.  Make sure the gown is cleaned using stain pretreatments, fresh dry-cleaning fluid, and a mesh bag for protection. The wedding gown should be pressed.
