Finding the Perfect Ring!

To create a piece of jewelry one will love and cherish forever is a challenging task. Finding the perfect engagement ring for your fiancé is an even bigger challenge, so make sure that you get to know your jeweler before committing yourself to a ring. He or she will be your guide when it comes to choosing the perfect statement piece. Wedding Jewelry Engagement Rings Bands Faini Perfect Ring

It is recommended that you do an ample amount of research prior to ring shopping. For detailed information regarding diamonds and gemstones, consider visiting the Gemological Institute of America website at The GIA sets the standards for diamond and gemstone grading and can be a resourceful tool to assist you with your research.

Once you have an idea of the type of ring you want to purchase, your next priority should be finding a jeweler you know and can trust. Finding a reputable company with staff knowledgeable about their industry is not as easy as it sounds, but it is definitely not impossible. It is easy to weed out the jewelers who are only in it for the money.

You need to ask yourself who you really can trust. Unfortunately, stores do not always make answering questions easy. Make sure you are prepared to visit different stores and handle the unpleasant experiences ,as you will quickly learn which jeweler is reputable and which is yanking your chain.

It is essential not to settle, so visit a variety of stores before making your selection. Do not feel as though you have to purchase a ring right on the spot because there is always a chance it may not be the best ring for you. Just because it is on sale or because another patron may be looking at the same ring, they are not reasons to break open the bank. Take your time and discuss your specifications with your jeweler.

If you are unfamiliar with the different shapes available to you, make this known to your jeweler. He or she can teach you the basics so you are able to decipher what it is that your fiancé wants. Just remember that what is popular at the time, may not be popular ten years from now. Consider a timeless setting so your ring is something you look back on and cherish.

You’re likely to see a variety of combinations, colors, styles and cuts when ring shopping, so keep an open mind. Try not to get discouraged and use your jeweler as your resource. He or she will guide you in the right direction. Once you find the perfect ring, you will know.

When shopping for a ring or any piece of jewelry, do not be confused with what you like versus what you are being sold. Like what you like for what it is, not because it is a name brand. Brands come and go. Your jewelry should not. It will hopefully be cherished forever, so remember, if you don’t know jewelry, know your jeweler.
