The rehearsal is a very important part of your wedding. It is your chance to run through the ceremony to make sure that your wedding runs as planned. Make sure you invite all key people involved in the ceremony. You may also choose to invite grandparents and other close family and friends. Most couples use the time following the rehearsal to hold a dinner in which they thank all of their family and friends who have helped make their special day possible.
The rehearsal dinner is the traditional place for couples to hand out thank you gifts. Many couples also exchange gifts that evening. We recommend that you use this time to go over the next days plans again with all those in the bridal party since they are all together. It would be a good idea to have a time line that you can hand out that will keep them all on track the next day!
