Our Story

We took a sunrise motorcycle ride to the Okaboji Water Patrol Station-this was one of the first places we ever went as a couple. After arriving at the station, we walked down past the boats to the end of the dock. Once there, he made me face him and said, "Today is the start of a new day, and I hope the start of a new life." As he finished saying this, he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. After saying yes, he said he had "one more surprise." When we turned around, his parents, my dad, step mom, and sister were standing there.

It meant so much to have our families there; it meant even more when he told me my mom and grandma had given their blessings also. Both my mom and grandma passed away earlier this year. Knowing they had both given their blessings is such a comfort.

Our Interests and Goals

We love to travel, especially by motorcycle. We also enjoy camping. Time together is rare due to our different shift schedules, but when we do get the chance to enjoy eachother's company, we do just that.
