Our Story

Dusty took me to Omaha to the Jason Aldean concert for my birthday. He told me he planned to propose, but they put the wrong diamond in the ring, so he couldn't. I was disappointed. We came back to Mitchell Saturday night & went to church on Sunday. Dusty thought since it wasn't too hot yet, that we should go on a picnic out at Lake Mitchell (not far from home). So, we took the four-wheeler out to the lake and found a spot. We ate & talked & then Dusty told me he had a surprise for me. I knew it couldn't be the ring. He gave me a box (didn't look like a ring box) and told me that it wasn't what I thought. I opened the box and there was a watch of mine and a note that said, "Don't ever forget the time, I asked you to marry me." I was so surprised. I couldn't believe it!
