Our Story

Engagement Story-
Kris and I work together at a hospital, and that's also where we met. I am a nurse and he is a maintenance man there. He noticed me from the first time he saw me, but didn't ask me out right then. He told another nurse that he liked me and she told me. So then it was awkward around him until he finally asked me out. When I was about to leave work one night he was there by the door, and told me he'd like to go out with me sometime. I said I would, and he got my phone number, (his fingers were shaking when he was putting it into his phone). The funny part is, that instead of pushing ok on his phone, he hit cancel, so he did not end up saving my phone number. So, the next time I worked that same nurse told me what had happened and I wrote my number out on a piece of paper for her to give to him. Then he sent my this text saying that he could only blame it on my beauty:)
After we dated for about 14 months, he and I had picked out a ring. Well, it took him about 2 weeks after that to finally ask me to marry him. I was working a night shift, and he came by and gave me 30some roses (pink, white, and red). Well, I didnt' think anything of it, thought he was just being sweet. Well the next morning when I got off work, I went home and there was a bunch more roses at my house, and he was asleep there on the couch. Well, I woke him up and then he read me a poem he wrote to me and then got out the ring. And that was the engagement
