The first thing you are going to need to consider is the season in which your photos are being taken. It’s important to plan your pictures at least six months before your wedding in order to use your photos for save-the-dates and wedding website. Every season has the opportunity to take beautiful pictures, but your outfits should correspond accordingly.
Once the season is decided and booked with your photographer, the next step is to pick YOUR outfit. Here are some things to keep in mind:
- Consider the season–This one’s easy. If you’re taking pictures in the fall, knee-high boots, sweaters and warm colors will compliment your surroundings. Conversely, dresses in bright iced colors look beautiful paired with wedge sandals in the spring time.

- Keep accessories simple–Besides your engagement ring, chose only one other accessory for each outfit.
The next thing will be to chose your fiance’s outfit. It’s important that you use the rules above for him to. Coordinate, but don’t match! To make sure you and your fiance have the most perfect pictures, coordinate your style and formality. Lastly, but most importantly, be confident in yourselves!
